Vinegar is a natural deodorant, which makes it perfect to get rid of pet odors. We’ll see how to use it to take a urine stain from a carpet.
Mix a solution of ½ cup of white vinegar with a quart of warm water. Do not use hot water, this will only help to fix the odor and stain permanently. If you want to clean the area is still wet with urine, wipe the area with a paper towel or dry cloth to absorb excess liquid.
Continue blotting until all the moisture in the urine is gone and the paper towel becomes dry. After getting off excess urine, apply the vinegar solution and dry the area to remove the stain.
If the stain is still detectable after the carpet is completely dry, repeat this process again. If you want extra eliminating odors, sprinkle baking soda on dry carpet.
