Getting to know wild animals
Many times when speaking of animals, in the first we put our attention is those that tame and have in our home as a pet. But the truth is that the world is much wider, and is not limited only to what we see in our home or in a zoo.
Wild animals are an important part of our ecosystem, as are those living in their natural and never received direct intervention by humans. These creatures are notable for showing a unique behavior that has not changed in any way with respect to which they had when they came to this world.
Knowing the wildlife fund
Today it is very common to make an erroneous assimilation between wild and dangerous animal. This is because in our society the use of the word “savage” has a moral connotation linked to evil and wrongful acts that hurt others. But in the realm of animals does not always mean that a wild creature is potentially fatal to humans.
It is obvious that no one will give you a touch closer to a lion, a bear or a hippo, but the truth is that it is worth the initial explanation for not reading this note with a hint of “misconception” to this type of fauna.
A wild animal usually inhabit inhospitable to a person or pet. Clear examples are the jungles, mountains, desert and the caves. Unlike the creatures are in captivity, these animals move in really dangerous sites with astonishing naturalness.
Unfortunately, poachers are killing wildlife due to the use of meat and skin. This has led many of these creatures are at risk, with a strong chance of extinction. For this reason many reservations have been created for wildlife that do not modify the environment or lifestyle of the animals, but that protect and monitor that are not altered by external factors.
Some experts believe that zoos are also working to maintain the lifestyle wild animals, although this assertion has been subject to controversy. In the wild animals struggle to survive and find food using their instincts to locate potential prey and in turn do not become someone else’s food. At the zoo such behavior is altered, leading to a significant level of pseudo domestication.
What is the most important wildlife?
The list is really extensive, but these are some of the most important: the eagle, owl, canary, cockatoo, pelican, bison, buffalo, Bengal tiger, cougar, lion, bobcat, leopard, lynx, leopard, monkeys, bears, frogs, snakes, anaconda, heron, elephant, hedgehog, dolphin, shark, bat, crow, market, tortoise, mole, newt, sparrow, fox, and shark, among many others.
Who protect wild animals?
While there are many governmental and nongovernmental organizations dedicated to the protection of wildlife, protection can be done from the home itself. Hunting and overfishing, the destruction of natural habitats is terribly harmful actions for wildlife because it destroys the environment in which they are accustomed to conducting their lives.
The best option is to raise awareness and become aware of the actions that are performed daily and analyze whether it is worth destroying the planet’s life in order to obtain a minimum gain.
