The Bichon Maltese dog

Today we present the Bichon Maltese dog, which looks like porcelain with the naked eye, very intelligent, intuitive and seems to be part of the aristocracy. It is the ideal partner, small, sweet and obedient to its owner. They are usually nervous dogs need toys to bite and like most, are very fast, beautiful and strong hair.

The Bichon Maltese dog

Their average weight is 140gr at birth and in adulthood between 2kg and 3kg. The head is of medium length and in proportion to its body, its ears are on top of the head but hang down and are covered with a generous amount of hair. His eyes are dark and round like the nose, which is very thin and narrow at the end. The neck is long enough so that seems to have his head high. The Bichon Maltese is compact and level back.

One of the hallmarks of this breed is the layer of “silk” smooth white covering her from the top of the head to foot, falling on both sides of his body literally to the ground, along with a long tail that leads gracefully into her back.

When we are thinking about buying a puppy Bichon Maltese, we must ensure that a puppy is friendly and outgoing personality, who has straight hair, looks soft, fragile, across a whole is pure white and is well pigmented.

Puppies are growing very rapidly and normally reach their maximum size around eight months into adults. The only drawback that I can bring to this race, is the care of their hair as a puppy over to adult we had to get used to daily brushing her hair to be born strong, avoid dirt and uncomfortable knots for that long hair can look so fabulous.
